152. Oh the Joy of Knowing Jesus

1. All the angels rejoiced when my soul made the choice

   To kneel down in prayer and find Jesus there;

   Then, my name was inscribed in the Lamb's Book of Life,

   And since that day I've been in His care.

   O the joy of knowing Jesus

   And to walk in His love divine;

   When at death I must cross over Jordan's banks

   I shall cross with His hand in mine.

2. As the Spirit now pleads take account of your needs,

   Can you really say that you're happy today,

   If this Saviour you'll find, you will have peace of mind.

   For Jesus bore all your sins that day.
