   Vast, unmeasured, boundless, free;

   Rolling as a mighty ocean

   In its fullness over me:

   Is the current of Thy love,

   To my glorious rest above.

   Love of every love the best;

   Tis an ocean vast of blessing,

   Tis a haven sweet of rest;

   O such love, the love of Jesus,

   Tis a heaven of heavens to me,

   And it lifts me up to glory,

   For it lifts me up to Thee.

3. O the deep, deep love of Jesus!

   'Twould take ages to explore

   But a drop of all this ocean

   Or a grain of all its shore:

   Yet our hearts are beating highly,

   If our faith is sometimes dim,

   For the glory and the rapture

   We shall have when we have Him.
